Directions to Field Sites
FROM THE NORTH –
(1) Take NYS Thruway South to exit 17 – make right hand turn onto 17K – follow 17K to Bullville and Route 302 make a right hand turn north on 302.
The high school is six miles from that point and will be on the left hand side.
(2) Take route 17 east to exit 116. Make a left hand turn onto 17K. At the intersection of 17K and Route 302 make a left hand turn and go north on 302.
The high school is six miles from that point and will be on the left hand side.
FROM THE SOUTH -
(1) Take the NYS Thruway north to exit 16. Follow Route 17 west to exit 119. Make a right hand turn onto Route 302 north.
Go approximately nine miles the high school will be on your left.
FROM THE WEST -
(1) Take Route 84 east to Route 17 west – take exit 119 – make a right hand turn onto Route 302 north.
Go approximately nine miles, the high school will be on the left.
(2) Take State Road 209 (north) to Route 17 east – take exit 116 – make a left hand turn onto 17K (east) – at the intersection of Route 302 make a left.
Go approximately 6 miles, the high school will be on your left.
FROM THE EAST -
(1) Take Route 52 north to Route 302 – make a left hand turn onto Rt. 302.
The high school will be the second school on your right.
(2) Take Route 84 west to Route 17 west – take exit 119 – make a right hand turn onto Route 302 north.
Go nine miles, the high school will be on the left.
The lacrosse field is located behind the Pine Bush Elementary School.
When traveling south on Route 302 from Route 52 make a right hand turn onto Ulsterville Road, it is the first road after the high school.
The PBE will be on your left, the fields are straight ahead. When traveling north on route 302, Ulsterville Road will be on your left, about six miles from the intersection of 17K and Route 302.
Make a left hand turn onto Ulsterville Road, PBE will be on your left hand side.
FROM Route 17 –
From Route 17 West to Exit 122A, take a right off ramp and left at the stop sign, school entrance is on the right.
FROM I-84 -
From I-84: Take Exit 4 East onto Rt. 17. Continue and get off Exit 124, turn right at ramp. Cross over Rt. 17 and make a right at the light. Get back on Rt. 17 West to exit 122A. Turn right at top of ramp. Turn left at stop sign. School entrance is on the right.
FROM N.Y.S. Thruway -
From N.Y.S. Thruway: Take Exit 16 to Rt. 17 West. Take Exit 122A, turn right at top of ramp. Turn left at stop sign. School entrance is on the right.
FROM N.Y.S. Thruway –
North to exit 20 - Saugerties. Make right onto Route 212 (across from McDonalds.) Continue on Route 212 \ 32 to the fourth traffic light.
Take a left onto Market Street. Take 1st right onto Lafayette Street. Take a left onto Washington Avenue and continue through the residential area.
School is on your right. The lacrosse field is behind the school. There is a driveway to your right before you get to the main school drive.
It loops around the school and goes to the back where the football field is. Lacrosse plays on the football field.
FROM Newburgh –
NYS Thruway exit 17. Bear to the right to get onto Union Avenue. Go straight (past the mall on your left) through 5 lights until you reach a sixth light at a four-way intersection, Route 32 & Route 300, (Deli on right, diner on the left.
Make a left turn at the light onto Route 300 and follow the road all the way to the end (approximately 6 miles).
At the end of Route 300 make a right (W.C. Gunks will be on the right.) and Robinson Drive is 1/4 mile up on your left.
The school is on the top of the hill.
From New Paltz -
Take New Paltz Exit 18 off the NYS Thruway. Make a left at the light and another left at the first light onto South Putt Corners Road.
Follow South Putt Corners Road to the end and make a left onto Route 32. Follow Route 32 into Modena and at the first traffic light make a right onto Route 44-55.
At the first intersection (Route 44-55 and Route 208) make a left and follow approximately 5 miles.
Make a right onto Robinson Avenue; the school is on the top of the hill.
From Newburgh-Beacon Bridge –
Take exit 10S (2nd exit over the bridge). At the end of the ramp, make a left (32 North). At the 4th light (Flower Shop/gas station/deli/restaurant) the road going straight will become 300 North.
Continue straight on this road. At the end of Route 300 make a right (W.C. Gunks will be on the right.) and Robinson Drive is 1/4 mile up on your left.
The school is on the top of the hill.
From Highland Poughkeepsie Bridge –
Make a right onto 9W North. Approximately 2 miles is 299 West. Make a left there and proceed through the village of New Paltz.
Make a left on Route 208 South (gas station and several restaurants on corners). The high school is approximately 10 miles on the right
FROM N.Y.S. Thruway -
From N.Y.S. Thruway: Take Exit 19 toward Route 28/ Kingston / Rhinecliff Bridge. Go approximately .4 miles and enter the traffic circle. Take the first exit out of the traffic circle onto Washington Avenue.
Go approximately .6 miles and turn right onto North Front Street. Dietz Stadium is less than .1 miles.
FROM West Side Hudson River -
Cross the Hudson River from West to East at the Bear Mountain Bridge. At the East end of the Bear Mountain Bridge, turn right onto US 202 East / 6 East. Travel 4.2 miles on US 6 East until you come to another traffic circle.
Enter the traffic circle and take the first exit onto US 9 South / US 6 East. You will cross another bridge over Annsville Creek.
After you cross the bridge, turn left onto Bear Mountain State Parkway and travel 3.8 miles. You will take a slight left onto Crompond Road / US 202 / NY 35. Travel approximately .1 miles and turn right onto Croton Avenue. Travel 1.6 miles on Croton Avenue to the High School
Take NY-17 West to Exit 126 (Rt-94) toward Chester/Florida. Turn left onto NY - 94 and travel 4.2 miles. Turn LEFT onto N MAIN ST / NY-17A / NY-94. Continue to follow NY-17A / NY-94 for another 5.9 miles.
Turn RIGHT onto WEST ST. Continue to follow WEST ST for another 2 miles. Continue past high school on West Street Extension 1/8 mile. Take left onto Sanfordville Road. Field is .5 mile on right, behind Sanfordville Elementary School.
Take the NYS Thruway North toward Albany. Take EXIT 19 toward RT-28 / KINGSTON / RHINECLIFF BRIDGE. Take the RT-28 W ramp toward US-209 / ELLENVILLE / RHINECLIFF BRIDGE and travel .1 miles. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto NY-28 W / ONTEORA TRAIL and take it for .2 miles.
Merge onto US-209 N toward RHINECLIFF BRIDGE. After 3.6 miles, US-209 N becomes NY-199 E (Portions toll). Travel 4.3 miles and turn RIGHT onto NY-9G. Go for 1.3 miles and then turn LEFT onto US-9 / ALBANY POST RD. Stay on Rte. 9 North until you come to the traffic light in the village of Red Hook.
Turn left at the light. After you turn left at the light, you will see Linden Avenue School. Go beyond the Linden Avenue School and you will come to the High School
Take Route 17 West to exit 123 (Rt. 6 & 17M) Middletown. Continue 6 miles on Rt. 17M to first red light. Make a left onto Rt. 6 (Fulton Chevrolet). School complex is on the left about 5-6 miles. Lacrosse is played at the Middle School, on the left, next to the High School
Take Interstate 84 West out of Newburgh to Exit 5. Take exit 5 (Route 208) and turn right onto 208. Take route 208 to the intersection of Route 17k. Take a left turn onto route 17K and proceed approximately 1 to 1.5 miles - Middle School and High School complex will be on your left
Take NYS Thruway (I-87) to Exit 16 (Harriman). Go through the tollbooth. Take the
first right exit (Central Valley). At the traffic light, turn right onto Route 32 North.
Proceed through several traffic lights. Central Valley Elementary is on the left, across
from Woodbury Common.
OR
Take the Palisades Parkway North to the exit for US 6 / Central Valley. (This is a leftlane
exit just after the bookstore building in the median and the Anthony Wayne
Recreation Park.) Go halfway around the traffic circle, staying on Route 6 (also called
Long Mountain Parkway). At the junction of Route 293, stay on Route 6. Go to the
bottom of the mountain. After going over the Thruway, exit at the ramp marked NY 17
South / NY 32, Suffern. Turn right at the end of the ramp onto Route 32 North. Proceed
through several traffic lights. Central Valley Elementary is on the left, across from
Woodbury Common.
OR
Take Route 17 East to Exit 131 (Newburgh / Suffern). Turn left at the end of the ramp
onto Route 32 North. Proceed through several traffic lights. Central Valley Elementary is
on the left, across from Woodbury Common.
From the West on route 84
Exit route 84 East at the Matamoras exit (exit 53). At the end of the exit ramp bear right onto routes 6 & 209 (W-S) and continue for one mile to the school on the left.
From the East on route 84
Take the first exit in Pennsylvania. At the end of the exit ramp turn let onto routes 6 & 209, (W-S) for 1.5 miles to the school on the left
AIRPORT PARK - MATAMORAS
From the West on route 84
Exit route 84 East at the Matamoras exit (53). At the end of the exit ramp turn left and go 1.1 miles into Matamoras turn right onto Seventh Street. Follow Seventh Street to Airport Park.
From 209 North
Take 209 North past the High School into Matamoras. Turn right at the Texaco gas station at the corner of Pennsylvania Ave. and Seventh Street. Follow Seventh Street to Airport Park.
MATAMORAS FIELD
From the West on route 84
Exit route 84 East at the Matamoras exit (53). At the end of the exit ramp turn left and go 1.1 miles into Matamoras turn left onto Seventh Street. Follow Seventh Street to field.
From 209 North
Take 209 North past the High School into Matamoras. Turn left at the Texaco gas station at the corner of Pennsylvania Ave. and Seventh Street. Follow Seventh Street to the field.
NYS Thruway:
Exit the NYS Thruway at exchange 18. Take Route 299 East.
After the second traffic light, make the next right hand turn onto Old New Paltz Road.
Hess Station will be on this corner. Proceed on Old New Paltz Road.
Make the first right hand turn onto Pancake Hollow Road. Proceed ¾ mile.
The high school will be on the right side.
